Took the London cops long enough to take action, and Hillary still does not seem to understand anything
But at least they're trying? Maybe.
Well, even if all migrants were to magically disappear tomorrow, nationalistic views will just switch from "refuges" to other countries of Europe.
Going to disagree on that. Thanks to the internet and international relations, it's unlikely to go that way unless it's a specific country using the EU to force shit onto others, then they'd get everyone hating them. Individual citizens of european countries don't think ill of those of other nations near them because for what is essentially the first time in history they can talk regularly and share at least one language without imposing on eachother, all thanks to the internet
The EU has to go though, it's based on a flawed foundation that only leads to more stress and distrust between europeans, and rising tensions in turn.

You sure? Because language barrier and commonly used global language already fails when addressed toward certain countries. From my personal experience, it's more like acceptance and being civilized. It doesn't even need to be "hate", it's more of a distinction between countries, like I do get why a German as yourself has globalized point of view, but all it really takes is "we are not them, they are not us" and it's common across Europe. Speaking of that, do

Hillary Clinton says Europe needs to curb migration to counter nationalism
http://edition.cnn.com/2018/11/22/europe/hillary-clinton-migration-europe-intl/index.html
Half of the article - Projecting 101
Other half - denial phase is over.
Well, even if all migrants were to magically disappear tomorrow, nationalistic views will just switch from "refuges" to other countries of Europe. That's not a machine that can be easily stopped, at least not until Imperium Europa, I meant European Union is a political/economical body instead of purely economical. Unfortunately, neither magic is a thing nor EU will agree to release it's "colonies". History repeats itself again, just like last time, heh.
Nationalists wouldn't vanish, but they certainly would become less popular. And from where I'm standing, the majority of problems with EU stem from the fact that it has long since stopped being merely an economical union.

I'm not German, but pretty close.

I know there's a lot of that around, but that still won't lead to conflict unless someone tries to push shit onto the others. Tensions are high only because everyone sees an outside force trying to fuck them over, and the EU plus open border policies gives them an easily identified source of that outside force. The solution then is pretty simple- Make it so people stop getting fucked over and then let everyone just relax and be decent people. There will always be a few idiots that hate everything different, but the majority of people will stop caring when they stop feeling like they're under attack

(...) Speaking of that, do
Seems like my message got cut :^) Speaking of that, do you see a problem here? You say you are not/it's pretty close, I could say there is no difference, even though there are in many elements. I could be an ignorant douche about it and it would be annoying, for a very good reason. Sorry, for making an example like that, but the point is, you can't just go ahead and say "you all Europeans are the same or 'we are all brothers and sisters here'", British blokes will get annoyed for telling them they are like French. Europe is not USA, no matter how hard it will be pushed, it's not going to happen. I will fully agree on coexisting and acceptance to a degree, even some individual friendships, but when it's nationwide views, it's different. Even in terms of migrants, with question of who brought them, fingers will be pointed at certain countries. That's why EU works well as economical body, but as soon as it gets political and different cultures/views try to push their stuff on others, it's starting to grind.
It's exactly what spider said:
Nationalists wouldn't vanish, but they certainly would become less popular. (...)
Those views do not die in century or two, lower in magnitude - yes. Right now there is an uprising due to occurrence that never took place in such scale on European continent, even if that was solved right away, nationalistic views do not disappear after a day, it's a slow downgrading process and while it's getting less popular, those views must be targeted at someone. I don't mean some bloody arguments taking place with bodies removed in bags, but generic "no u because u r [xxx]! No, u, stupid [xxx]!" that will simply be a problematic, fist waving screeching until it cools off.

Yeah, just read this part of the post. Pretty much what I just wrote. However, people have a very good reason to feel like they are under attack, a completely different culture that doesn't want to integrate and acts like it's their new playground only proves them right. And it doesn't matter what kind of people are coming over, if it would be Chinese flooding EU and not integrating, causing some terrorist attack from time to time, acting in same, barbaric way, nationalistic views would be rising as well.
All the tensions can keep rising until a certain point. The question is how long until that point is reached and how horrifying it will be? A little grim, but history is written in blood.

They don't have to keep rising
But there are no real ways to stop it from doing so considering the current political situation. Everything has been set up almost perfectly for increased escalation with all possible ways to slow it down and decrease tensions blocked off
It's going to suck for everyone when that erupts

But in news, the same thing as every year- Protests against Dutch traditions because people refuse to understand them
http://www.dw.com/en/blackface-christmas-tradition-prompts-dutch-protests/a-46341362
Took me a bit to find a source in English, but the wastebasket of the internet didn't disappoint
In short, there's a Dutch tradition that uses blackface to disguise people giving out gifts every year. Kids love it, parents love it. Pretty much everyone enjoys the festivities
This is considered unacceptable by a small, persistent group of people who are out to ban it and they try every single year despite it being the most loved national tradition we have and the courts ruling against them every time they try

You can of course imagine that a lot of people are feeling like they are under attack from outside factors, as this group is often shown to be almost entirely immigrants with foreign funding

I agree, they don't have and shouldn't... Again, agree, there is no way to stop what have been put in motion.
Yes, it will suck... Because there is a big possibility of it being followed by a body count.

Simple answer to those tiny, screeching groups: Border is that way, good luck!

I'd forgotten we'd reversed the rule that prevented the police taking down scooters

It's funny watching the gestures of disbelief after a few of them get knocked off

Yeah it's happening. My older images had full on monstersex, but all the new ones are 'under review' for nip-slips or what have you when I try an upload. Pretty damn crazy.

What amuses me the most is that in the 1970's feminists campaigned to be allowed to show their boobs. now..

Oh, I know, it's more about corporate profits, these are the guys at fault: http://www.oath.com/

I swear, their website is such corporate cringe.. the front-page picture actually changes on a re-fresh, heres whom I got: 'Smiling black man' 'Smiling muslim chick' 'smiling blonde with a baby on the arm' 'smiling white guy' 'Feminist gal trying to smile' 'Smiling Hispanic gal' 'Smiling Black gal' 'Smiling Hispanic again'

Betting my butt they're indirectly the reason as to why Yahoo-mail keeps bitching at me to turn off my ADBlocker recently as well.

RIP Tumblr, I'm pretty sure they're actively trying to kill the site because the only thing it's actually for is porn
And if you ban porn from a porn site, what's left?
Yup, nothing

Except maybe the political activism blogs but then nobody cares about those, and nobody ever ca-
Oh, nope, nevermind. They're banning all mentions and/or tags of 'gay', 'queer' and 'transexual' too so I guess those are out

There's already some conspiracies that it is intentional to do some corporate selling nonsense, yes.

It's not a conspiracy if they outright mentioned it as a plan for the 'near-future' to their shareholders
